Barry McCabe kicked off the scoring 9 minutes into the game, while Jonathan Partida and Gerardo Mendoza added to the first half tally to give SF City a 3-1 lead. They never looked back in the second half while Kei Tomozawa added an early second half tally in the 53rd minute to give the team an insurmountable lead. The Seahorses added a second goal but it was not enough as SF City defeated the Seahorses 4-2. The win was the second straight for SF City, while the Seahorses were swept on the road thanks to losses from the two SF PDL clubs.

SF City play out the string Thursday 7pm with their last home game against the Glens in the return leg of the SF Derby, followed by a road game Sunday July 15 at 4pm against the Santa Cruz Breakers. The Seahorses return home to play against Fresno FC U23s Wednesday July 11 at 7pm before finishing their season slate hosting Orange County SC U23s on Sunday July 15 at 4pm.
