The Quakes play to a 2-2 draw against CD Olimpia of Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Cade Cowell and Matthew Hoppe accounted for the Quakes goals in the first half while Yustin Arboleda and Jerry Bengston scored for the visitors. The match was marred by JT Marcinkowski injuring his knee off a play in the 40th minute, allowing Quakes II goalkeeper Emi Ochoa to enter the game as a substitute. The game was announced as a fill-in due to the international break with the team fielding mostly reserves and players from the MLS Next Pro roster.

While the Quakes await their final match against Austin FC on Saturday October 21 at 6pm, CD Olimpia play on the road against Olancho (Juticalpa) in their domestic league on Wednesday October 18 at 5pm. The league match has MLS Cup implications with all teams playing simultaneously. A win will secure a playoff spot for the Quakes.
