In the last game of the 2024 season for both the match was for San Francisco/San Mateo County bragging rights. SF City got a goal from Marco Jacques in the 3rd minute with a long range strike. That accounted for the only tally of the game and SF City held on to the win, and a sweep of the season series.

The Glens will officially move to their Treasure Island facility for the 2025 season having been delayed mainly because of weather issues. SF City hopes to continue on an upward progression after an arrangement with SF Muni, keeping the team in the USL League Two since 2016. The match has evolved into an inter-city rivalry in US Soccer to go along the likes of New York and Los Angeles. For the 2024 USL League Two NorCal Division Almaden FC takes the title in their first year and Project 51O return to the fold fending off Monterey Bay 2 for the second spot.
