The Quakes lose at Montreal this past weekend, while Bay FC pick up a crucial road win at Seattle.  Asisat Oshoala converted a penalty kick to give the team the victory and keep them in contention in their inaugural year.

There’s more news from the women’s team. Bay FC will be building their training facility on Treasure Island along with the Glens who also have their grounds all but completed.  The focus is on the women’s team and Doug at Soccer Bay Area has the take.

The Bay Area will be hosting more events along with the matches at Levi’s Stadium. That venue and PayPal Park will host games for the 2025 Gold Cup with the dates and teams to be determined sometime next year. Of note the East Coast plus Seattle (for the Sounders) and the Rose Bowl in Pasadena will host the FIFA Club World Cup. The news is once again from Doug at Soccer Bay Area.
