The LA Galaxy defeat the New York Red Bulls 2-1 at home to win the MLS Cup.
The Quakes acquire three players from the New England Revolution with Dave Romney, Mark-Anthony Kaye, and Ian Harkes joining the team. If the names sound familiar Romney played at USF and had a stint with SF City back in 2015, while Kaye is a Canadian international who is more familiar with his time at LAFC. The younger Harkes is the son of John and his father, a member of the 1994 USA World Cup team, has played for Arena at Virginia and DC United.
In addition, the team also made the following roster moves ahead of the upcoming 2025 season. Last week the Roots made similar moves to their roster.
Congratulations to Inter SF, who will advance to the 2025 US Open Cup with their win over Valley FC.
