A not so lucky weekend for the Bay Area teams as the Quakes lose 2-1 to Colorado at home although Bay FC had enough to get a point on a road with their draw against fellow 2024 expansion club Utah Royals.

Bay FC opened their season on the road at Utah to play the Royals and play to a 1-1 draw. Kiki Pickett scored a strike outside of the box from Joelle Anderson’s pass in the 43rd minute to give the team an important point on the road. With some major player turnover and off field distractions they begin their home schedule this weekend hosting Racing Louisville. Doug at Soccer Bay Area has his take on the match.
