The season begins with the return of the I-880 Derby with San Leandro heading to Hayward to meet the Oakland Stompers on March 22 am 5pm. Defending conference and NPSL National champions El Farolito open play at home against the same Stompers a week later on March 29 at 4pm.
Some key departures include Oakland SC, Napa Valley 1839, San Ramon, FC Davis, and the North Coast (formerly Sonoma County) Sol joining The League of Football Clubs. Along with El Farolito, the Oakland Stompers and Sacramento Gold remain. One returning to the conference include Real San Jose and from the UPSL San Leandro United and Cruizers FC (Modesto), while California Odyssey (Clovis) rounding out the teams. Each team will play a home and home series, and with 7 teams in the league at least one team will have a bye with the remainder playing the schedule.
