Bay FC suffered their second straight loss with a 2-1 defeat to Chicago Stars FC. The team was previously known as the Chicago Red Stars.
Ludmilla from the visitors was the star of the game with her brace early in the first half. Her first goal five minutes into the game was initially called offside but upon video review was allowed. Her second goal in the 41st minute off on a break was enough of a lead to give the Stars the full three points. Caroline Conti scored off the penalty spot in the 58th minute started a comeback, and despite pressing until the end of the game the home team could not seal the point.
Next up for Bay FC is away to Cary, NC to face the Courage on Saturday April 19 at 4pm, while Chicago continue their road schedule to Salt Lake City to face the Utah Royals on Friday April 18 at 6:30pm.
