Some bad news and the one bit of good news for this week.
First up, Magnus Eriksson has played his last game for the Quakes. The midfielder has transferred back home to Sweden to play for Djurgardens IF. His team career stats from 2018 when he joined was 69 appearances in 73 regular season games, starting in 66 of them with 13 goals and 14 assists. The team now has an international spot open and it looks like they will be looking into the Mexican and possibly South American leagues for a replacement.
Also, the Oakland Roots has postponed their Justice Match friendly due to the current wildfires in the Bay Area. More details from the team is here.

It is with regret that we will not be able to cover the return of the Quakes from the stadium when play resumes this week. We would like to be there for at least a match but the current situation will prevent us from doing so. However, we will be posting a summary of the home matches every Monday, along with their away games. We look forward to returning to the stadium with all the supporters, fans, and staff in attendance but we will be there in spirit and hopefully enjoying a game with small fellow Quakes fans. This door is closed, but another one will open. For this week, even though the philosophy is “Football without fans in nothing” the closed door games will give every supporter a morale boost, lift spirits win lose or draw, and have some sense of normalcy. We graciously look forward to the return of top flight games, and eventually those in the lower flight.
There will be some new and exciting features coming soon. Look to this site for more, and also on Instagram at 3pointsport and thank you for your support.
