Inter San Francisco advanced to the second round of U.S. Open Cup qualifying with 5-0 win over Marin County Union SC at the Beach Chalet. Matt Fondy scored twice and the home side also got goals from Gerardo Burgos, Dylan Autran, and Nikolai Littleton.

AFC South Bay in San Jose kick off their schedule October 1–so expect an unbalanced schedule among the teams. The schedule will play until December 18 and then break for the holidays–with play resuming after the new year.
The key teams to watch are the two JASA teams plus Juventus Silicon Valley in Redwood City, AFC South Bay in San Jose, and South San Francisco. Deportivo Cometa will play their matches at Half Moon Bay.
