In the first game of a soccer double header Real Sociedad defeat Real Betis 1-0 thanks to a goal from Aihen Muñoz in the 69th minute. The match was part of the La Liga North American tour encompassing Mexico and here in the US at San Francisco with Betis playing at Guadalajara and Sociedad playing at Monterey.

The match was the last stop of the preseason tour, with both teams beginning La Liga play next weekend. Betis will begin their season on the road at Villareal on Sunday August 13, while Sociedad will host Girona on Satuday August 12.
